This is the third time I'm moving to a foreign country to live and work, the second time going unemployed, with hope, the second time in pursuit of someone beautiful. The questions people always ask when I say I am moving to Reykjavik include 'Where's Reykjavik?', 'Isn't it really cold there?', 'Do they have the northern lights there?' etc. Some say 'Say hi to Bjork!' which I most certainly will. An old man at the pub asked if we were still at war with them.
Before I moved to Korea, people would always ask 'North or South?' That really irritated me.
When I'm in Iceland, settled, I'll begin to write some content for Vivimus. There is a very unpopular construction project which requires the demolition of a much-loved hangout spot for adults and the young alike, which would be a suitable topic to cover. Should have a lot of time on my hands, if job hunting there bears the same fruit as job hunting here.
That sentence includes the words 'hunting', 'bear' and 'fruit'.
