I've been spending free time reading about the potential independence of Scotland, trying to dig away the grime and get to some truthful argument that represents a prediction based on thorough research without being spiced in propaganda and peppered with pride, tradition and rhetoric. Alistair Darling is just the worst person to encourage people to do anything at all. The comments on the Guardian website are no better. Both Scots and English get extremely aggressive on the issue. I support the independence if it's what the majority of the people want, despite the distortion it should create on the rUK and a feeling of a phantom limb in us all... driving on up the M1/A rummaging around for my passport. Being abroad, there's some detachment anyway between UK nationalities, detaching myself, not able to feel Ian Watkins is a compatriot since what was revealed was. I just want to detach that whole story from my mind altogether.
Having a bit of a party tonight at the flat - hope my bauble don't get broked.
